Women in Business plays an active role in the School of Business and on the TCNJ campus. We always have exciting events scheduled, whether it be workshops, co-sponsored events, prominent guest speakers, weekly meetings, or trips!
Spring 2019 WIB Events:
Upcoming: 2/27 J&J Finance Q&A Panel:
Learn about amazing opportunities within one of the world’s largest pharma companies, Johnson & Johnson. Former TCNJ students will share their experiences with the company and will guide students towards success with this important firm. This event will take place from 6-7:30 pm in Stud room 222.
2/13 Prepare for the Fair:
WIB’s Vice President London Morse led a presentation on tips and tricks for success for the business school’s largest event, the Career Fair. Learn how to talk to recruiters and employers alike, and how to successfully market yourself to a variety of companies.
2/6 Goal-Setting and Networking:
The President of WIB, Liz Kelly, led this event that combined effective goal setting and networking strategies. Plan out your path to success and share your goals with others, all while learning more about networking and creating initial bonds.
Fall 2018 WIB Events:
Johnson & Johnson Finance Leadership Development Program Info Session
Current J&J employees presented to WIB about key opportunities within J&J such as the FLDP program and summer internships. WIB members gained valuable insights about possible internship opportunities and what the J&J employee culture is all about. Additionally, WIB members who have already benefited from internships from J&J spoke about their experiences.
Women’s Leadership Summit:
Representatives from WIB attended TCNJ’s annual Women’s Leadership Summit. Female speakers from the TCNJ community shared personal stories about business and leadership. Nathalie Molina Niño was the keynote speaker; she delivered excellent strategies on how to be a successful entrepreneur.
